Care Connection Partners named Best Family Business in Yorkshire
Date 13 November 2025
We’re so proud to have been named as the Best Family Business in Yorkshire!
We were one of four businesses shortlisted in this category at the 20th annual Yorkshire Post Business Awards 2025 and we had an incredible night celebrating alongside so many incredible businesses and individuals at New Dock Hall in Leeds.
Congratulations to our fellow finalists, Bagnalls, STEPS Rehabilitation and Yorkshire Heart Vineyard and Brewery, and to all of the other winners and finalist.

The Care Connection Partners team were presented with their award by broadcaster Christine Talbot.
Family means everything to us. We’re a family business in every sense and our family roots remain our strongest asset.
· Deborah Stock leads the business as Founder and Managing Director.
· Dave, her father, is Logistics Manager, personally ensuring staff arrive safely at work – even on Christmas Day, bank holidays and weekends.
· Heather, Deborah’s sister, is Business Development Manager and recently spearheaded the launch of the Coventry branch.
· Savannah, Deborah’s daughter, is Bookings Coordinator, managing vital staffing logistics.
· Maxwell, Deborah’s son, now thrives as a Trainee Business Development Officer, inspired by his own experiences. Maxwell is the inspiration behind Care Connection Partners after he suffered two catastrophic brain injuries as a child. He, alongside Deborah’s mother Tres who suffered a severe stroke, required care and Deborah was inspired to set up the business after experiencing shortcomings in the care provided.
But family also extends beyond our blood ties.
Our General Manager Beth MacLeod-Birch works alongside her husband and our Business Development Manager, James.
Business Development Manager Nathan Glanville-Houghton is engaged to Caitlin Sacre, Registered Manager of sister company My Caring.
This extended network creates a unique working culture where our staff don’t just feel like colleagues – they feel like one big family.
Our guiding ethos, #feelthelove, captures this spirit perfectly. It’s a daily commitment to kindness, teamwork and going the extra mile – both for each other and for our clients.

The Yorkshire Post Business Awards 2025 were held at New Dock Hall in Leeds.
Deborah said: “I’m bursting with pride to have been named Best Family Business. It means the world to us that the judges recognised how we are truly one big family.
“While several of us are related by blood, those relationships extend beyond that.
“It’s an honour for us to be up there with Yorkshire’s finest on a night which celebrated excellence across our region.
“It shows that we’re doing it right and we’ll continue to make a positive difference in the healthcare recruitment arena.”
This is the third award we’ve won in the last 12 months.

We also won the Recruitment, Training, Retention and Motivation award at the national Care Sector Supplier Awards and the Growth Award at the Hull and East Yorkshire Business Awards.
We were also delighted to be shortlisted in the staffing section of the Supplier of the Year Category at the National Care Awards in London earlier this month.
Deborah added: “Everybody in our family wants the same thing and they all understand that getting it right really matters.
“Care Connection Partners exists because of my family and it thrives because of the family values we all share.
“This is more than a business – it’s our legacy.”
