Tell us about your job and the services your care home provides for residents.

My role involves overseeing the day-to-day management and quality assurance of our care provisions across multiple settings.

I work closely with staff teams, families and external professionals to ensure that every individual we support receives person-centred, safe and high-quality care.

Foxglove Supported and Residential Services provides comprehensive support to vulnerable adults within the community, including individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions and physical health needs.

Our focus is on promoting independence, dignity and inclusion while ensuring that residents are empowered to make choices about their own lives.

We offer a range of services, including:

• 24-hour residential care with trained staff to meet individual support needs.
• Supported living services that enable adults to live more independently within the community.
• Person-centred care planning tailored to each individual’s goals, preferences and abilities.
• Support with daily living skills, such as cooking, personal care, budgeting and accessing community activities.
• Health and wellbeing monitoring, working in partnership with healthcare professionals to ensure residents receive appropriate medical and emotional support.

What’s the best thing about your job and why?

The best thing about my job as Senior Operations Manager for Foxglove Supported and Residential Services is the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable adults.

Every day brings the reward of seeing individuals achieve personal milestones, gain confidence and live fulfilling lives with the right support in place.

I take great pride in leading and developing dedicated teams who share the same commitment to person-centred care and continuous improvement.

Knowing that the systems, training and guidance I help implement directly enhance the quality of life for those we support is deeply fulfilling.

Ultimately, the most rewarding aspect of my role is witnessing the positive impact of our work empowering individuals to reach their potential, promoting dignity and independence, and fostering a culture of compassion and respect across all our services.
