‘Consistent, passionate, reliable and understanding’ – Our partners have their say on working with us

It was fantastic to welcome some of our current partners to our head office in Hull in for the second of our drop-in surgeries.
The day provided an excellent opportunity for our partners to meet our whole team, look around our new training facilities, have open and honest conversations with us, win company merchandise and enjoy lunch.
The event followed our hugely successful inaugural drop-in surgery earlier this month, which saw about 100 of our current staff join us across the day.
The surgeries are part of our ongoing wider work to change and improve perceptions of healthcare recruitment within the sector, cementing our commitment to listening and responding, which is incredibly important to us in our partnerships and with our staff.
Deborah Stock, our founder and Managing Director, said: “It gives me great pride to hear our partners saying they’ve bought into the different way we do things.

“We’re not perfect by any means but we do everything we can to make sure we get it right every time.
“It’s so important that we get to know our partners to ensure our team members are the perfect fit for their service provision because they’re all different.
“We’re gathering some great and constructive feedback from these drop-in surgeries which will help shape the future of our business and how we work with our partners.
“Our #feelthelove ethos runs throughout everything we do and the surgeries are our way of showing our staff and partners this even more.”
Ken Ngwang, Senior Operations Manager at Foxglove Residential and Foxglove Supported Living, was among our partners who attended the drop-in surgery.
He said: “It’s amazing for a business to do this and provide and eye-opener behind the scenes. I’ve learnt a lot.
The drop-in surgery for our current partners was a great success.
“It’s a collaboration and very few companies do this. I have never worked with a care company that’s so passionate, willing and understanding, and they support us every time.
“It’s not just about business for them. It’s about caring and having a connection with what we do. I really enjoy working with Care Connection Partners.”
Sarah Kidd, Home Manager at Figham House Care Home in Beverley, also welcomed the chance to attend the event.
She said: “It’s a fantastic networking opportunity and chance put a face to the voice.
“We’re regularly bombarded by agencies and cold callers and this is so much more of a personable approach.
“Care Connection Partners is different. I know that whenever we need them they will help us and whoever comes will have the right training as well as being the right person for the job. They’re reliable, they’ve never let us down and they’re consistent, which is unusual in this industry.”

Our partners enjoyed lunch prepared by our Business Development Manager, James MacLeod-Birch, who is a trained chef, which included lamb carbonnade, jollof rice, barbecue chicken, spinach and potato picnic curry and mashed potatoes.
Our Office Manager, Beth MacLeod-Birch, also made some amazing Victoria sponge cupcakes, chocolate fudge crinkle biscuits and fudgy banana bread blondies.
We were also joined at the event by our friends and partners from Evans & Co Certified Chartered Accountants, Humba Mortgages, Humba Financial Advisers and Connexin Academy, who were on hand to offer advice on mortgages, insurance, pensions, financial planning, investments, careers, training, apprenticeships and more.
