Meet the team with Deborah Stock

In the latest of our Meet the Team Q&As, we caught up with our founder and Managing Director Deborah Stock, who started the business in 2021.
After several years working in the healthcare sector, Deborah was inspired to set up her own business after her son, Maxwell, suffered two catastrophic brain injuries in two separate accidents and her mother, Tres, suffered a serious stroke, which meant they both required care.
The business has gone from strength-to-strength, and continues to thrive.

Tell us about your role and what it involves
My role is to ensure the values of Care Connection Partners are spread far and wide across the whole business.
Our Feel the Love hashtag is at the core of everything we do, from staff induction training and placing our staff to work in care homes, to making sure the back office administration is an easy process, ensuring everyone who works for us – staff or providers – has a smooth experience.
What’s the best thing about your job and why?
There are so many different things I love about working in care, it’s really difficult to list. But I truly love that we really make a difference in providers’ working days.
I love that we’re known for being reliable – a partner they can rely on in any scenario – leading the way in training our staff to ensure they can offer a solution to any issues which may arise.
I love our solid relationships with our clients, which means it’s a pleasure to support them every day.
Each day is different but I look forward to coming to work, and I love everything about what we do. I love the challenge of a new client coming on board and showcasing what we can do to help them.
Why do you love being part of the Care Connection Partners team?
We’re a team in the fullest sense of the word. When anything happens, we all pull together to get it right. Watching individuals grow and watching their commitment to getting it right across every area of the business is inspiring.
We have some really big personalities in our team but every individual brings something unique to the business, which makes it easy and enjoyable to work together to do the best job.
I’m so proud of the whole team. We spend so many hours at work, and we go through everything in life together, which makes us so much stronger as a family and a team.

It means excellence in customer services, in relation to each other, to our clients and to going the extra mile.
We live and breathe #feelthelove as a team and it’s the foundation on which our business is built.
It means a strong sense of communication, being honest and responsive, and making sure every booking we fill is done to the highest order and communicated properly.
We also make sure our staff are a priority, so they want to stay with us and continue to be an ambassador for #feelthelove when they’re at work.
Tell us something about yourself which people may not know.
I’m a bit of a musician! I can play the piano and I love to sing. Playing music helps stress relief and helps to deal with anything happening at the time.
