Meet the Team with Efe, our #feelthelove ambassador

This Meet the Team Q&A is a chance to get to know Efe, our #feelthelove ambassador, who is about to bring lots of love and cheer to our partners, care home residents and service users this Christmas.

We asked our social media followers to help us name the bear earlier this year and lots of our staff suggested Efe, as it has strong connections to the word “love” in West Africa, where many of our carers are from and still have family connections.

We love the name and how much everyone loves Efe!

 

Tell us about your role and what it involves

It’s my job to bring comfort and calm to everyone I come into contact with. I’m the epitome of #feelthelove, our company ethos, and love being able to create smiles.

I’m playing a big part in our Christmas hamper gifts to our partners this year and I’m excited to meet care home residents and service users as they enjoy the festive season.

 

What’s the best thing about your job and why?

I love cuddles and I get plenty of those! Everyone loves my soft coat and friendly face, so they can’t resist picking me up and giving me a big squeeze.

 

 

Why do you love being part of the Care Connection Partners team?

Care Connection Partners shares and embraces #feelthelove throughout every part of the business and I play an important part in helping to spread that message.

Everyone in the team and beyond understands and supports #feelthelove and it’s great to have a key role in that.

 

What does #feelthelove mean to you?

As a teddy bear, it’s a special part of my nature to #feelthelove and it means I can add to people’s happiness or cheer them up when they need it most.

This message is so important and we make sure everyone we work with feels the love.

 

Tell us something about yourself which people may not know

I was a gift to Care Connection Partners from MJC Branded in Hull and I’ve since become the company’s #feelthelove ambassador, so I’m helping to add to the festive cheer this Christmas and beyond.

The very kind gesture from the team at MJC Branded meant so much and it means I’m now helping others, which I’m very proud of.
