Meet the Team with Holly Richards
Date 16 September 2025
Our Recruitment and Compliance Officer, Holly Richards, is the newest member of our Care Connection Partners family and the latest member of the team to take part in our regular Meet the Team Q&A feature.
Holly has changed careers to join us, having previously worked as a hairdresser, and we caught up with her to find out what she loves about her new role.

Tell us about your role and what it involves
I’m the first port of call for everyone who comes to work for us and I look after all compliance-related processes, ensuring we have their certificates and documentation in place before their induction.
They send us a copy of their CV and an application form, I send them an assessment form, and I check their history, identification, certificates and documentation before the induction and training begins.
What’s the best thing about your job and why?
I love meeting everyone and being the first point of contact. I get to know them before anyone else and learn more about them. I was a hairdresser for 25 years and communication was a massive part of that job, so the skills are transferable in my new role.
Professionalism and the ability to speak to anybody are skills I already have. I’m an approachable person and love speaking to people, which helps.
Why do you love being part of the Care Connection Partners team?
I’ve been self-employed for the last nine years, so being part of a team is unbelievable. It’s not just any job – it’s like a family. Everybody is approachable, helpful and friendly.
What does #feelthelove mean to you?
It means placing the right people in the right places within care homes and making sure we’re doing everything right. It’s so important our partners and staff #feelthelove and we all have the same ethos.
It’s vital that we provide the right carers with the right training and this is something I really care about.
Tell us something about yourself which people may not know
I love screaming heavy metal music and going to gigs. Most people who meet me would not think that and they’re usually quite shocked!
