Staff wellbeing day proves a hit with Care Connection Partners team
Date 8 October 2024
Care Connection Partners staff enjoyed the health benefits massage can bring at a staff wellbeing day.
Holistic Massage Therapist Nicci Regan provided Swedish neck, back and shoulder massages to nine team members at our head office on Hessle Road in Hull.
Care Connection Partners’ Managing Director and Founder Deborah Stock organised the day as a treat for the team who work tirelessly to ensure the health and social care recruitment business continues to go from strength-to-strength.
Deborah said: “I wanted to arrange this for my amazing team to thank them for all their hard work and enable them to #feelthelove.
“This is our ethos and our business wouldn’t be the success it is without them.

“Nicci did a wonderful job of helping them to relax and I’d definitely recommend other businesses to consider this for their teams.”
Massage has many mental and physical health benefits, including improving posture, increasing circulation and releasing toxins and bad energy.
It can also help to relieve headaches or migraine pain, reduce depression, anxiety and stress, lower blood pressure, boost energy and improve mood, and enhance the immune system.
Nicci said: “Staff wellbeing says are becoming increasingly popular as businesses strive to put the health and wellbeing of their staff at the top of their agenda.
“Happy and healthy employees are generally more productive and massage can increase productivity by up to 12 per cent.
“Care Connection Partners is a really nice place to work and they all told me how appreciated they feel by Deborah.

Nicci provided Swedish neck, back and shoulder massages to the Care Connection Partners team.
“It’s a nice treat and a lovely gesture for the team, and it’s good for them to know their wellbeing is front of mind.
“Everybody felt relaxed and enjoyed it, which was great feedback to receive. Even those who don’t normally enjoy massages said they liked it.”
Nicci said the wellbeing days do not cause disruption to the office or working environment and she can work seamlessly alongside colleagues carrying out their day-to-day roles.
She added: “I set up in the corner of the office, or wherever is easiest for the business, and bring massage oils, towels and a table with me. It’s all very dignified and doesn’t get in the way of anyone’s jobs.”
James MacLeod-Birch, Business Development Manager at Care Connection Partners, said: “I don’t usually like massages but Nicci did an excellent job. I felt very relaxed and it was a lovely gesture for Deborah to organise this for us.”
